UKRAINIAN HELICOPTERS AND REVUE THOMMEN AG SIGNED AN AGREEMENT ABOUT SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF AD32

Kiev Ukraine – PJSC Aviation Company “UKRAINIAN HELICOPTERS” and REVUE THOMMEN AG mutually signed an agreement about supply and installation of THOMMEN AD32 ADDU’s on their Mi-8MTV-1 helicopter fleet.

Stefan Weiss, Business Development Manager and responsible project manager of REVUE THOMMEN AG stated: “We much appreciate the direct cooperation with UKRAINIAN HELICOPTERS. The installation of AD32 will increase the flight safety and operability during their challenging international missions on behalf of the UNITED NATIONS organization.”

Ukrainian Helicopters current fleet of 28 Mi-8MTV-1 helicopters has an exemplary record of peace-keeping and humanitarian missions, rescue operations and environmental disaster consequences management operations in various parts of the world.

The THOMMEN AD32 is a self-sensing Digital Air Data Computer incorporated into a standard 3 ATI electronic altimeter. The fully customized DO-178B Level A certified AD32 incorporates an integrated altitude alerting system and offers different lighting options (white, red, NVIS green).

Enhanced sensing technology without needs for re-calibration, excellent accuracy, switching between metric and imperial units, maximum environmental resistance and very high reliability (MTBF > 21’700 hrs) making AD32 the first choice for modernization of aircraft operated in harsh environments and remote areas.
