AD20 - Electronic Standby Altimeter
The THOMMEN AD20 Electronic Standby Altimeter indicates barometric altitude with high accuracy. It is a direct replacement for mechanical standby altimeters. It measures static pressure with a proven integrated solid state pressure sensor and displays the computed altitude by an analog pointer and a sunlight readable digital Liquid Crystal Display.
The AD20 Altimeter has a range of –1,000 to 55,000 feet and can be switched to metric scale indication. The baro setting knob has a push-to-reset function.
Other features are: Push-to-Test and continuous BIT, BIT failure memory, LCD/stepper motor driven pointer, 408 ARINC housing 2ATI, RS-232 maintenance interface, visual/aural alert relays outputs and white LED-lighting.
The THOMMEN AD20 Electronic Standby Altimeter is certified to (E)TSO-C10b. It is tested to DO-160D and DO-178B SW level A.

Night Vision Compatibility Testing Service in a Photometric Test Lab:
THOMMEN is specialized in NVIS measurements according to MIL-STD-3009 / MIL-L-85762A and offers the capability of photometric measurements of UV, visible and infrared light in a Photometric Test Lab.
The installation also comprehends the measurement offerings of high intensity search light beams and exterior lights including a high performance, scanning spectrometer Spectro320 - TOP 200 optical probe and XYZ automatic positioning systems.

It is the perfect solution for civil and military use for demanding applications to steer external equipment.
Additional customized features can be integrated in a cost-effective way due to the concise construction. The simple tailored design enables the face of the bench to be easily readable and comprehensible.
The solid and robust Multi-Application Hand Controller is suitable for harsh environments and from temperatures -45°C to +70°C. It is a universal hand control unit with RS-422 communication protocol.

HSL-1600 - Fully Integrated Helicopter Searchlight:
The THOMMEN HSL-1600 searchlight offers high performance, ease of installation, and multi-function capabilities in a rugged, integrated design.
All power management, control and system integration circuitry including active slaving capability for onboard FLIR, Camera Systems and / or Helmet Sight Systems is integrated into the unit itself thereby eliminating the need for any additional remote junction boxes and intermediate cabling. The unit is easily operated via hand control unit or from the cyclic or collective grips besides being connected to any digital map / tracking system or a second hand control unit via a built-in RS232/RS422 interface.
The primary 1600 Watt Xenon short arc lamp provides up to 1600 m detection range and a variable beam spread from 4° to 13° for an optimum support of any police, law enforcement, SAR or military mission. Long range NVIS capability of up to 1000 m is offered via an optional integrated IR filter module.
The HSL-1600’s digital design allows features and functionality not previously available with traditional searchlight systems. These include: Faster movement in all directions with instant reversibility, configurable stops and “forbidden zones” that allow the unit to transition around heat sensitive items like antennas or onboard equipment.
The HSL-1600 is maintenance free, DO-178B compliant and tested according to DO-160F.

HSL-800 - Helicopter Searchlight with integrated multi-filter module:
The THOMMEN HSL-800 searchlight offers high performance and multi-function capabilities being a lighter-weight model, intended for single-engine helicopters in the law-enforcement market and several other public service entities.
The searchlight comes with a variety of signal and data interfaces supporting flexible integration for remote and slaving functions.
The 825 Watt Xenon short arc lamp provides up to 1000 m detection range and a variable beam spread from 4° to 20°. The filter system is designed to operate with different types and colors of custom filters.
DO-178B and DO-254 compliant and tested according to DO-160F for external installation on rotary wing aircraft in harsh environments.

MD21 – Electronic Standby Mach Airspeed Indicator:
The THOMMEN MD21 Electronic Standby MACH Airspeed Indicator is highly reliable and indicates airspeed and MACH number with upmost accuracy. It is a direct replacement for mechanical standby airspeed indicators.
It measures pitot and static pressure with proven integrated solid state pressure sensors and displays the computed airspeed by an analogue pointer and a sunlight readable digital Liquid Crystal Display.
The MD21 Electronic Standby MACH Airspeed Indicator has a range of 0 to 450 knots and 0 / 0.200 to 0.999 MACH. VMO/MMO over speed warning is provided by a LED in the bezel.
It is designed to operate from 28 VDC primary power. LED-Lighting is controlled by an external 5 VDC (28 VDC optional) voltage. The lighting is available in white. Discrete outputs are available as an option. The RS-232 serial interface provides communication for maintenance and parameterization. An extensive Built-In-Test function guarantees safe operation.
The THOMMEN MD21 Electronic Standby MACH Airspeed Indicator is certified to ETSO/TSO-C2d, ETSO/TSO-C46a and ETSO-C95/TSO-C95a. It is tested to DO-160D and DO-178B SW level A.

MD32 - Max. allowable Airspeed / Digital MACH Indicator:
The MD32 is a self-contained, integrally illuminated 3ATI electronic instrument. It is installed as primary instrument on aircraft and meets the requirements of (J)TSO-C46a.
Features of the indicator include: Airspeed, airspeed pointer, maximum allowable pointer, digital MACH display window and a fast/slow analogue output.
The MD32 is a direct replacement for older electromechanical instruments that are no longer serviceable. The design meets «form, fit, function» to guarantee an easy retrofit and can be installed on many aircraft types.
The MD32 is controlled by a micro-controller. It incorporates absolute and differential solid state pressure sensors for static and pitot pressure and has the following operating ranges:
Airspeed: 0/60 to 420 knots (0 mark)
Max. allowable airspeed, VMO/MMO: calibrated for specific aircraft type
MACH number: 0.300 to 0.999
Altitude: -1,000 to +53,000 feet -
DC20 - Digital Quartz Chronograph:
The THOMMEN DC20 Digital Quartz Chronograph is a high-precision in-vehicle timepiece and guarantees user accuracy and reliability.
It displays all major functions including local time, Greenwich Mean Time, elapsed time and has a countdown alarm with discrete output available. The clock is a single rotary/pushbutton design that make the pilot’s job easier. The large illuminated Liquid Cristal Display eases legibility and has four digits and indicates the current function by a cursor. The back-ground lighting of the LCD is available in different lighting voltages.
The Real Time Clock (RTC) operates with a precision quartz-crystal. No time-resetting is required after switching off the unit because of its battery-buffered RTC. A battery life time of more than 4 years is guaranteed. This means the operation of the chronograph is virtually maintenance-free.
The Chronograph is microprocessor-controlled and extremely robust.The DC20 is supplied to general aviation, commuter and rotary wing aircraft.
