Waldenburg, November 5th, 2015

Dear and valued customer,

We are pleased to announce that Thommen Aircraft Equipment Ltd (TAE) has successfully entered a new strategic plan. As part of the new plan, SATORI a French company located at the Le Bourget Airport in Paris with subsidiaries in Dubai and active in the aviation MRO business shall take over the production of Thommen’s STAND BY instruments and the mechanical/quartz clocks product line with effect as per March 1st, 2016.

Thommen Aircraft Equipment Ltd. shall strengthen and set a special focus on its digital product line such Air DataComputers, digital clocks and Search lights while launching in the course of 2016 a new and exciting range of products in the mission equipment area.

Mr Cochu, President of SATORI is stating: “I am proud to offer to SATORI the possibility to continue and develop the legendary and renowned STAND BY Instruments of Thommen brand as well as offering to our Group to be a recognized OEM. In addition to our MRO services, the integration of Thommen’s products will largely extend our portfolio of services to our customers. We count on a smooth and rapid transition with keeping the knowhow and employees as well as the activities in the heart of Waldenburg. Our target is to minimize the impact to the customers and assure the highest standards of quality that did lead us to acquire this business activity.

Stephane Jaquier, CEO of Thommen Aircraft Equipment Ltd. is stating: “who else better than SATORI could continue the heritage of Thommen’s STAND BY Instrument! This is the right timing and a unique opportunity for Thommen Aircraft Equipment to take the chance to grow in its new core business which is the mission equipment. The synergies between the digital product line and the STAND BY business were questionable since a few years, resources sharing on the activities were challenging, I am thankful of the consent of all parties, including Thommen’s shareholders for the adoption of this new strategic orientation. We have dressed a plan to guarantee the continuity of the legendary product offering while allowing us to focus on innovative digital solutions. SATORI and TAE will remain working on a close relationship for the future.”
