Electronic Altimeter with Remote Input AD30
The THOMMEN AD30 Electronic Altimeter displays aircraft altitude data received from an external source and includes an integrated altitude alert function. It exceeds all FAA Technical Standard Order (TSO) accuracy requirements.
The air data parameters are transmitted via the configurable ARINC 429 interface data bus with two ARINC 429 transmit and two receive channels and includes adjustable baro with push-to-reset function.
The corrected altitude is displayed on a high contrast LCD in digital format. With a fast reacting stepper-motor driven pointer, this sensor type enables virtually “real-time” indication of the altitude during rapid vertical maneuvers.
The AD30 has a modular design and is very easy to maintain thanks to the RS232 maintenance interface. The light weight AC30 is designed for low power consumption and has been optimized for state-of-the-art avionics applications. The extensive Built-In-Test system guarantees safe operation.
The THOMMEN AD30 Electronic Altimeter can be configured for different applications and displays altitude in feet or meters, all without altering the system architecture.
The AD30 is also available with square front bezel and 3ATI case in black or grey color.
