HELI-ONE STAVANGER and THOMMEN AIRCRAFT EQUIPMENT AG, Muttenz, Switzerland, signed an agreement about delivery of THOMMEN Digital Air Data Computer (ADU) type AC32 for the integration of EFI-890H Advanced Flight Displays in the Airbus Helicopters AS332L1.

Undergoing cockpit modernization and upgrade, the customized solution for AS332 includes dual Primary Flight Displays, while replacing analog instruments, dual UNS-1Fw Multi-Missions Management System – incorporating advanced technology – with 5-inch Flat Panel Control Display Units, and a single Radio Control Unit.

THOMMEN AIRCRAFT EQUIPMENT AG ensures that the selection of the digital ARINC 429 interface AC32 Air Data Computers will help to increase flight safety and operability. The THOMMEN Digital Air Data Computer is free of recalibration while guaranteeing accuracy. This reduces operation costs requiring less maintenance work carried out by qualified engineers. 

The Air Data Computer Unit AC32 measures barometric altitude and airspeed with integrated vibrating cylinder pressure sensors with high accuracy and stability for both static and pitot ports. The THOMMEN AC32 Digital Air Data Computer exceeds FAA Technical Standard Order (TSO) and accuracy requirements.
